The Cruces Atmospheric Sciences Forum was formed in Las Cruces, New Mexico in 2009. Membership is informal and everyone is invited to attend our meetings at Pepe’s restaurant located on the corner of Picacho and Valley.
Meetings are held beginning at 11:30 am on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Attendees are invited to enjoy the efficient friendly service and delicious food served by the restaurant staff while participating in discussions of atmospheric and climate science.
Generally, a speaker will give a slide presentation on a scientific topic of interest. While those with a variety of viewpoints are always welcome most members take a skeptical view of catastrophic anthropogenic global warming.
